Taunton Vale Polo Club was founded in 1911 by the Officers of the Regimental Depot of the Somerset Light Infantry, together with other enthusiasts. Thus making this club the second oldest Polo ground in England. The Hong Kong Polo Association , having lost its ground in 1984, transferred its assets to Taunton Vale Polo Club...

After a great deal of lobbying,the club has been awarded a substantial grant, from the HPA, towards the cost of new boards for next season.
